CURRENT MEMBERS RENEWING
Membership renewal and annual fee payment is a two step process. You must complete both steps for your membership to be valid. If you are not financial you are not covered by insurance.
Step one | RENEW via PORTAL ACCOUNT
Create an account at https://sls.com.au/join/ (if you haven’t already got one)
Login to your account and click on the ‘Memberships‘ menu item
Click on ‘Renewals, Payments & Transfers‘
Click on ‘Renew‘
Review your membership profile and make any necessary changes
Tick the appropriate declarations boxes
Click ‘Submit’
If your submission is successful a confirmation screen will display advising the renewal request is pending approval
Step Two | PAYMENT
To pay online, select ‘click here if you wish to pay online’ and the system will direct you to the SLSA Payment Gateway.
Include your Surname as a reference
Enter the amount and items as listed below
Membership Category Notes
When selecting a member category, please note that ‘Junior Activity Member’ (not Probationary) should be chosen for all nippers / cadets aged 5 – 14 and ‘General’ for all nipper parents.
Family Groups
The portal allows family groups to be set up to renew all family members at once. Each family member needs an individual account within the portal before they can be added to a family group.

NEW MEMBERS:
Step one| APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP
Go to https://sls.com.au/join and follow the instructions.
Once your online membership has been submitted successfully you will receive a screen message saying ‘Your membership request has been recorded in the system and is pending approval’ by the club.
Step two| PAYMENT
Pay your membership fees online.
Once you have submitted your membership application, click on the link CLICK HERE IF YOU WISH TO PAY ONLINE. This link will take you to a payment website.
Make sure you fill in the following:
- Club Name: Moruya SLSC
- Transaction Type: Membership etc.
- Complete Name: Make sure you include your name and your membership category.
- Check the cost of your transaction by clicking the View Price List link.
Step three| PORTAL ACCOUNT
The Members Portal is a system that covers membership, patrol rosters, training and awards all in one place. New members need to set up a Portal Account to view or change their records online.
If you are applying for more than one membership, you can create a family group to have one Portal Account and one password for the whole family. To set up a FAMILY GROUP, just one family member will need to set up a Portal Account.
To create PORTAL ACCOUNT, once your membership has been confirmed by Moruya Surf Club, register with LIFESAVING ONLINE via the link on the Moruya Surf Life Saving Club website or go to https://sls.com.au/join
Once you are on the MEMBER PORTAL page, click on the tab on the top right ‘CREATE ACCOUNT’ and complete all the details.
You will then be directed to a new page to choose a user name and a password.
Once completed you will need to Activate Your Account via a confirmation code/link by either email or SMS depending on the choice you made earlier.
If you do not receive an SMS or Email, please click the ‘Resend Your Confirmation Code’ option.
Once this membership is approved you can then go back into the MEMBER PORTAL using your username and password and follow the links to set up a family group.

How to redeem your Active Kids vouchers
Members renewing their club membership using an Active Kids voucher can do so through the Members Area.
If a member has completed their renewal online and is only waiting to make their payment, the membership renewal will need to be rejected by the club so that the member can complete both the renewal and Active Kids voucher redemption in the same process online.
